Has anyone had an issue with one whole side of their stereo system not working? speakers not working? The high's always work, it's just the door speakers that work intermittently...

BTW, this is on a 2007 Yukon with the base stereo system.

I assume you've already checked to make sure that your balance/fade from your stereo is set to the default.

Next thing I would check is fuses. Seems weird that it's just one side, and I'm not sure it makes sense if that would be from a blown fuse, but that's the easiest thing to check.

If you can't find a blown fuse the next thing I would do it pull out the head unit and unplug and plug back in all of the wiring harnesses. Make sure they are securely connected.

If that doesn't solve it you may have to isolate your speaker wires and test to see if you are getting power from your harness all the way to the speaker.

It wouldn't be a fuse. Check the amp connections (If you have bose) or check the connections on the back of the HU.
