Hey guys,

I made a trip to the local Pick-A-Part the oither day and came away a happy camper. I picked up a full set of Bose speakers for my 2001 Tahoe, AND walked away with a set of Escalade rear vent-caps! Only charged me $5.99 a piece for them. The guy said, "I know I'm not charging you enough for those but I can't find them on the price list. If you don't say anything, I won't either!"

I'm all like, "Say anything about WHAT?"

So that brings me to my question. yes, I searched the forum but didn't find anything that REALLY answered my question fully. Whats the best process for painting these? My 'Hoe is factory GM White. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Best way to paint anything is to get it done at a shop. You saved a bunch on the vents so just spend the money you saved on having them done professionally, :IMO:

Some pay upwards of $150+ for those, so for best results, get them done at a paint shop with the money you saved. But if you really want to do them yourself for just over $20, get duplicolor adhesion promoter, body color, and clear coat. You can get these at your local auto parts store. Check your glove box for the color code of your truck. Sand with 600 grit, clean with degreaser, and paint away with directions on the rattle cans.

I would get em done at the shop. You paid crackhead price lol great score dont mess it up by accidentially messing the prepping or painting stage or it will show in the end and look bad its all about the prepping

Since you basically stole them-take them to a body shop and have em' done by a pro. I had mine done for around $75
