This was just a thought because I was wanting to do something more to my truck and I'm not sure if I'm going to do it but what would be a good color to paint my calipers?

Black would look good with those wheels. Lots of people like red too. you going for flashy? classy?

lol back in the day i painted all the calipers red on my cars. over time i realized no matter what color theres nothing cool about stock brakes. now as long as they dont look rusty or oxidized im happy.

WRONG!! It doesn't add 50 HP!!

Its 39 HP :)

I wonder if certain paints would hold heat in? I have heard of such a problem on non-auto related areas.

So, what if I paint em red and add those stick-on fender vents, is that enough to add 50hp? :hmm: lol.
What's the main difference between engine paint and caliper paint? Is there any advantages to either one?

Use engine enamel spray paint. Done hundreds of sets

+1 you can even get a spray can of custom mixed engine enamel to match your paint code. Might look trick with matching brakes.

Here is an example of what I did to a set I'm building for my ride.

engine paint shaves .10 off your 0-60 time...brake caliper paint knocks 10 feet off your 60-0 distance.
