Hi all, I have a 1996 Yukon giving me an EVAP code every once in a while p1441 just wondering why fuel tank sucks a lot of air when removing gas cap I mean like a vacuum. Another issue is sometimes I hear the fuel tank expanding or contracting (metal tank)not sure but tank makes a sound like its flexing A little.Sending unit,vents,fuel pump,and tank all about a year old due to hole in tank any help or insight would be great thanks

EVAP system is messed up and not venting. Noise when remove cap and tank flexing. It could be as simple as a bad cap. The rest of system may need replaced too but try a new vented cap first.

As Ron stated. Start with the cap. If not that then perhaps the vent line or the canister is clogged.
