You're way over thinking this...Fluid is a much more efficient heat exchanger than air so by eliminating the fluid's travel through the radiator's internal transmission cooler, you've cut your cooling efficiency by at least 50% or so....
I'm hitting 230 occasionally in Florida stop and go traffic , and 220 pretty regularly.

Should I be worried or is this nothing? Outside/ambient temps 90-94

Trans seems normal.

What are your temps at highway cruising speeds?
I'll give it a run this weekend and post here.

Today, 30 minutes of stop and go outside temp 80, I could not get it above 180, and I rode it HARD

So the last time it was hitting 240's, I parked on a hill, had dinner, and it shot to 240 immediately - so not sure if the parking on a hill maters in any way?
