Opinions on wheels

I used performanceplustires.com virtual wheels to see what some different wheels would look like on my tahoe. Which one is your favorite? Just wanting some input.

I did the exact same thing when i was looking at wheels. lol

I like the Rockstars best of your choices.
I went with the XD Monsters in black for my Yukon. There are a few trucks with Rockstars in my area.

They are the new rockstars by kmc. They are for cars & SUVs, where the old ones were for an off road/rugged look.

You think I could play off 5 with stock suspension on some low profile tires? (b/c they are made for cars/suvs)

And yea rockstars are kinda worn out; but here in hernando, MS black rims just became cool like in August '09 lol. So they'd still be "new"

I'm trying to go with some black(or possibly chrome) wheels that will look good on a WHITE tahoe . Going for a classy look like jdpromo33.(I just threw in the rockstars w/ mud tires for kicks & giggles) Any recommendations?

If you are removing all the chrome, ie: bumpers, grill, grill shell and have black windows, tails and handles then go with #5. If you are just looking for a set of wheels to complament the truck as it sits them I say #2 because the chrome lip will fit in with the bumpers and grill. Either way I say lower it but I'd like to see you color match all the chrome, remove side moldings and roof rack, clear front corners, blacked out tails (LED's) and windows and then go with #5

Ha you mentioned every mod I wanna do. I want it to be two-color (black & white) instead of 3-color(b,w,chrome) But yeah guess it does make more sense to do all that before wheels.

EDIT: wheres a good place to get a grill shell?

lose the moldings, vent visors, and roof rack (free mods), get a white SS bumper cover, and go with #1 or #2 with a drop

nothing with wheel bolts or fake wheel bolts. they get dirty, tear up your cleaning cloths, and generally are real PITA.

that being said I only like the flat 5 spokes, nice, easy to clean, look decent. Not fan of the black wheel, already played out and has been for about a year. I hear you on rural MS though. It seems they are 2-4 years behind.

Personal preference after having had complex wheels and the constant (weekly or twice weekly) cleaning.
