I love my GM cars and trucks. but if they try to stick me with a truck that there dealer screwed up i will not have much use for them. I paid a lot of good money for a denali thats been damaged by a dealer and i am starting to lose confidence that they are going to take care of it. I bought this on jan 12 i understand these things take time but when its u it seems like forever!!! and i love the truck awsome power comfort ect. I should have all of u call the gm of the dealer and say u will never buy there because of this. ps they dont know where u live.

I fully understand the frustration. July 2010 I came across a flooded road at night and my Cobalt engine flooded. All the dealer did was change the oil, suck the water out of the top of the pistons, and change the spark plugs. 6 months later the car spun a main bearing on #1. That required a new crank, rods, etc. The big problem I experienced was the 6 weeks it took GM to get the dealer a new crank that wasn't damaged. The failure was completely with GM. The box for the crank was no bigger than the part. The oil collar was crammed in there and would become damaged during transport. It took a nasty call by the dealer to GM Performance (car was an SS Supercharged model) on the 4th attempt to get them to package the part in a way it would be protected.

Ya right I already have talked to a gm customer care person, 2 district specialist, and have every interaction with GM and the dealer wrote down and documented. and have been doing so sence the issue began. and still no closer to a resolution. :emotions122: :emotions122: :emotions122:

You are wasting your time. You will spend lots of it while waiting to hear this if GM hasn't already told you:

Your problem is with the dealer. GM won't help you. If you want satisfaction, you'll get it with your attorney and/or court, nothing else. You will not, repeat not, be getting another new truck.

This is classic car buying BS. The factory does not control the independently owned dealers and could not care less if you are happy with them. GM is one of the worst, along with Toyota and Ford.
