There’s a TSB on the rear cover in regards to porosity of GM’s aluminum blocks and the cover.

A local Caddy/ GMC dealer did the work as “rear main seal”. Sounds as though the Indy that did it the 2nd time may have the seal and plate. All that Ppwk is gone now that the Denali XL has a new home.

Thanks, this gives me a few options to chase... I have an oily leak, on my driveway, under my footwell. It's a 2004 Yukon XL 2500, with the 6.0. Thanks!
