There should only be one on the drivers side, the other could be a sunglasses holder?

Looks like the onstar mic mine is a 01 and only has it on driver side

Quite honestly having a good GPS , smart phone, and AAA is all you need.

Driven as far as Galax Virginia to Birmingham Alabama in my truck. Never used OnStar

One & only time I "tried" it, was broken down in Banjo Mtn, WV and it responded: "no service". Lucky some hunters drove me to a landline.
