Ok bear with me cause I am not stellar with electronics. I have an 02 Yukon XL denali with the Lux option. We purchased it with an aftermarket head unit installed and it worked great up till about a week ago when it wouldn't power on. The onstar still works, all the fuses check out that I know of, and I even purchased a new radio.
After installing the new radio, it also would not power on, this leaves me dumbfounded.
It also has a peripheral GMAH24B onstar interface which has the green power light on and the red comes on when you turn on onstar. So my question is, where is my power not coming through? There is also a relay attached to the harness immediately beyond the interface box. Could this relay be a problem? It has the power wire running through it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, it gets pretty lonesome with no radio.
