Just wondering if anyone knows of a good mechanic in Hudson County, or NJ in general. I just lost my mechanic and it so hard to find someone to spend the time to go over the vehicle in detail. I am trying to keep my 2009 Tahoe as tight as possible, but most mechanics aren't interested in restoration, or paying attention to detail. They have too many customers and too little time.
Reading all the posts from the brilliant minds here on the site, I decided to keep my 09 Tahoe and had it painted last year. So now I'm all in. Probably going to look to clean up the under carrige next and do the susspension.
Thanks for any suggestions.

He must be really good if you go to him ;)

I do use his services. Virtually, of course.

You know that I'm in Denver but I worked for Adelphia Communications (cable operator) for a few years while we pulled the company out of bankruptcy. The main office was in Coudersport, PA, up by the New York border. We would regularly fly to Pittsburgh, PA and fly a small Cessna up to Wellsville, NY, which is not all that far from Avoca. If I'd have known about him back then, I'd have made an effort to stop by his shop and bother him for a few minutes. He's probably fortunate that I didn't. :)

I've done some drinking in Coudersport area back in the day. :)

Potter County -- God's Country. So they say.
Yup there is a sign that says just that when you cross the county line. Wharton Tavern was my watering hole. Then up the road is the Austin Dam memorial park. Never forget visiting that place.

The dam they built backwards, I think it was. We had dinner over that way a few times and visited the dam. It's a Dam shame!
