Not finding a lot of user reviews on the night vision option. Can anyone who has it share any feedback? We live out in the county with a healthy deer population, so might be a good option for us if it works as advertised.

Thanks,
Ron

That precisely the reason we got it on our incoming ultimate. The more I see and read my rough opinion so far is it is 60% an expensive gimmick and 40% valuable. But we hit rural roads at nigh also in farm country some time with precious grandchildren aboard. So, if it saves me one time from approaching deer etc....it could have been worth it. Needs a bigger screen though....

Unless it’s thermal vision and built in to HUD, it’s not worth it. I don’t have that option but I have had in in a Mercedes, garbage. I had real thermal vision in a 2001 Cadillac, built in to HUD and it was amazing. Seeing the engine heat and tire heat from the cop cars sitting on the highway with their lights off….oh yeah, and the deer..

It’s kind of cool but not really useful. I’ve found it most useful when on a road late at night that I’m not familiar with as it makes the road much more visible.

I must say, if that’s your only way of looking for the popo, you are already too close for they speed detection methods to apply the brakes.

It’s not….i don’t speed, I just love seeing them sitting dark, but I see engine and tire heat. They light up like a monochrome Christmas tree..it’s just cool.
