My driver side mirror is just about unusable since the defrost fluid inside is leaking. Has anyone gotten those new towing mirrors where is built-in turn signal power mirror and defrost from Amazon?

I'm looking at these

Long story short, last year I ordered K-Source mirrors from Amazon and the seller sent me the ECCPP brand. I worked with K-Source to let them know that the company selling the ECCPP brand was advertising them as K-Source. I ended up getting my money back from the vendor and they didn't want the mirrors back, so I sold them cheap.

The ones I received were similar to what you're looking at, except they didn't have the edge turn signal indicator, it was only in the mirror like the factory glass. The ECCPP passenger mirror would not adjust inward enough to see down the side of the camper, so they were useless to me. They also don't mount parallel to the ground; they have an upward tilt and I didn't feel like shimming them to try to make them level.

Not sure what these others are like, but that was my experience. YMMV

Looks like the K-Source are at RockAuto for $274. I may go with those.

These get good reviews from all the truck groups

Thanks. I like all those options.

Well, My wife surprised me with a set of Yitamotor with heated/power/side turn signal mirrors. They were packaged well and obviously Chicom. I'll see how these work out and report back.

Some nice features on the Boost mirrors. It would be nice if they would power fold and power extend/retract. In parking lots they look like a lot of mirror for people to dodge. I'm too lazy/forgetful to walk around and fold them every time parking is tight. Parking in my garage would require folding them to back in.

Yeah, I doubt I'll find any. For now I'll make do with stock.

I will miss that power folding too but thats about it.

Installed last night. Wow i can see so much, no more blind spots now. All functions work. Backing up is a breeze now. No mirror memory but it doesnt bother me. Fit and finish they are to be expected for <$100 power/heated/turn signal mirrors. They vibrate ever so slightly at 70 MPH and up but not all the time. The bottom convex are manual and very stiff. They dont sit level as all reviews say but there are some adjustments i will do with help of various youtube vids to level them. The plastic triangular molding does not sit flush against the door, see photo. Needs some tweaking but im hooked on the visibility. Time will tell. Sorry the latest tapatalk update, it wont auto rotate them anymore.

I've started looking into rear view camera technology. I'd love to have one on the back of the truck always on when I'm driving and another on the back of my trailer looking back.

Check out Crutchfield.com for their 2 DIN radios that include back up cameras.
