Hello from Nebraska. I am looking forward to learning a thing or two being on here from everyone. We have a 2025 Tahoe High Country we waited a long time to get here. This is our second Tahoe and had the same issue with the paint on the back tailgate where the Tahoe lettering goes. The paint is wrinkle and we have it at the dealership to get it taken care of. Has anyone else had the same issue with the paint? There were some other minor paint issues we are getting fixed as well but just wanted to see if the tailgate one is a common issue. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I had a ‘24 and now a ‘25 and I changed the badgeing on both from the chrome lettering to the black lettering on the whole truck. Both times removing and cleaning was fine but on the TAHOE on the back lift gate I messed the paint up slightly. At first I thought it was me but after the second time I started to think the factory was light on the paint on the lift gate. This is the first confirmation of that. Interesting!

Very nice color.

There was a post recently from a member who was unhappy with the paint quality of his 2025 truck.

Little update to my paint issue...turned out there were at least 23 imperfections in the paint and a few scratches I found. I took it to the dealership to get everything taken care of and their platinum package put on and we will be 3+ weeks without our brand new Tahoe. It has been an on going issue with this dealership with vehicles. We are asking for them to make it right and as of now they want to do very minimal for us. This is the seventh vehicle we bought from them, all of them brand new except for our daughter's car. Had they done their job and actually did the pre-delivery inspection they would have found over half of the issues and could have gotten them taken care of before we were without a SUV and had to cancel plans because of it. Needless to say we are extremely unhappy with them and this situation. Hope anyone else does not have to experience anything like this...
