Hello,

Wanted to say Hi, I am new to this site, have been around others looking for info on the NNBS Tahoe. This is the site i found to be most helpful. I just picked up my new 2010 Black LTZ Tahoe on Tuesday. Want to start doing some mods to it.
-So far i have decided that I will do the following, not necessarily in this order, let me know what you all think.
--Black Bear Tune (want to do in person, but might have to settle for cable)
--Cold air intake (what type you guys prefer)
--Floor lines (like the weathertechs and the huskys, which ones?)
--Bug and window defectors (which ones should i get?)
--Strobes (which type do you guys have)
Later down the road
--Rims, tires
--Brush guard
--Roof cargo rack
--Off road lights (lots of them!)

Let me know what you guys think, am open to many other ideas.
Thanks in advance for the input, will get some pics up this weekend, its pouring here in Cleveland (when is it not raining in Cleveland?)
-Thanks

Congrats and welcome

For floor liners and bug and window deflectors i would all go with weather tech, floor liners can get expensive on their site because they bundle them up with other stuff but check out ebay.

BTW Where are the pics?!!!!

Agree... maybe get exhaust and then to the BB Tune. Not a fan of strobes... I think you might find this common amongst other members... but its your ride. Any thought of HIDs? I would go with those over strobes.

Hey guys, sorry will try to get pics up tomorrow night, been pretty crappy weather in cleveland so i will see what i can do.
-I will look into HID's whats a good setup for those?
-Also waiting for the exhaust, want to wait for something that i really like the sound of, cannot stand kits that drone. My brothers MAG drones like crazy and makes me mad (especially when towing).
Thanks guys

-Well that answers that question... the way that its tuned from the factory makes the six speed annoying, the downshifts are very rough and jerk the car. this annoy anyone else?

Welcome to the forums! You definitely chose one of the more informative forums out there. I definitely like what you have in the works for it. +1 on the choice for no bug guard/rain deflectors. I know they serve a purpose but I've always hated the way they look.

Here is what her response was to my question JFYI

"in 08 GM changed from PCM to an ECM/TCM combo, so there are two modules to tune rather than just the one. As far as tuning a 6 speed, it can currently only be tuned in person, as the TCM is internal to the transmission and you can't swap it out. Once the AutoCal is out, we should be able to do remote tuning for the 6 speeds.

Jenna"

I can wait, would rather do it with Justin anyways.
-Another quick question, how many miles should i put on it before i can start to really drive the thing, right now im trying to keep it below 2500 rpms (hit 100 miles today)?
-And how long before i can start towing with it, the manual says 500, but should i wait longer?
----PICS LATER TODAY-----
