would $550 be a good deal for the new style tahoe wheels with factory tires that have 80% tread left on them.

The only worry is all four of the rims have these wierd spider veins on them. They are not cracks but rather veins under the clear coat. I'm planning on having them powder coated but am a little worried when they are coated, you will be able to see the viens. Any advice?

sounds like a good deal, they are usually over a grand.. With the veins, maybe they will sand out or maybe the powdercoating guys will bake the rims so that the factory finish comes off and hopefully the veins do too

With a lil past experience with my bumpers being done, I do know they blast them pretty heavily since my front bumper had a small place where spot surface rust was starting to grow from being rubbed up against concrete a couple years back.

We'll see.....Think i'm gonna spend the money today. My powder coat guy told me $75 a wheel..... my hoe = money pit.... and lets not even start to talk about my boat :)

but they are powercoated now, the only way to take that off is to bake them..the bumpers were steal and could have rust under the paint..

The black chrome is cool but very expensive to do. It's not very durable either. Really hard not to scuff them while re-installing the tires. Tire shops cringe at the site of them.
