Has anyone have experience with

FalkenWildPeak A/T3W tires?

How do you like them and would you buy them again? Looking for some new tires for my 2006 Yukon xl. I don't drive it much so the next set of tires will likely age out before wear out. That being said, I do want something good in snow as well as dry highway driving. I see them on the cheaper side online.
Thanks in advance.

I ran the orinigal Wildpeak AT a long time ago on my 01 Sub 2500. I don’t have AT3 experience. The ones I had were “fine” but I do prefer the BFG KO2s and 3s and have plenty of experience with them in all conditions.

I'm running the AT3W now after running a couple sets of Michelin Defender LTX. Michelins gave good mileage, nice ride, super quiet, but not great in mud or snow. The WildPeaks are cheaper, much better in mud and snow, have snowflake/mtn peak rating (that matters is some states). They don't ride quite as nice and are a slightly louder, but really good value and I'll probably put another set on them after I wear these out.

I picked up a set of 4 yesterday. I didn't drive it very much, but was able to hit a parking lot with 3-4 inches of snow. I stopped and gave it the beans and the yukon hooked up very well. Tried the same on my icy driveway and they acted like any other tire on ice. Unless you have a studded tire nothing works good on ice. They are a touch noisier than the Goodyears that came with the truck. The tires will age out before I wear them out. I just don't drive it much. I use it for pulling a light trailer and a people mover when needed. $960 out the door, now bring on the snow.

We received 8 inches of heavy snow. The WildPeak A/T3W handle it with no problem. Even stopping and starting in the plow wash wasn't an issue. I would purchase them again. Hopefully they will resist weather cracking in the coming years.

After playing with this thing
I've decided that my next set of tires will be Falken WildPeak A/T4W.

I think the A/T4W have a little harder rubber compound than the 3's. I bought the A/T3W over the 4's strictly on price. The 4's should last a little longer mileage wise. If you live in an area that gets snow you'll be happy with them.

I have 2 sets of the AT3W and they are great, quiet and do fantastic on back dirt roads, however on snow, especially if its packed they are useless. Nothing beats a snow tire on packed snow roads. Slushy roads are fine but anything that has a ice or sheen due to packed frozen snow and they may as well be ice scates. So if you barely ever see snow yes, if you get a lot of snow, no!
