Chrome liftgate looks good, definite future mod for my Tahoe Hybrid. I have a set of those bulbs coming but didn't know about changing the puddle lights. What type and where did you get those from (would complete the look with the license plate lights).

all the lights ar eplug and play got them off ebay $16.00 a set the puddle lights are the same as the license plate lights, also on the license plate lights two screw and pull them out easy. puddle lights: used a screwdriver to remove the cover (just flips out) used needle nosed pliers to grip the bulb and pulled out and put the led in by hand clipped the cover bacc on and bang done love it the pictures dont do the chrome liftgate cover justice just so stream lined and sexy!!! lol like that armor commercial just stood there with the camera just no girl came up and kiss me..

heres pic of the mirror led swap

lol how do I get puddle lights/those mirror lights to turn on?

I can only get them to "flash" on when I unlock my doors. (i think this also flashes my HID's)

NF -- How about some day shots of the chrome pieces?!

Also, where'd you get them/what brand? Looks sharp!

Oh, and do you remove your rear bow tie in order to fit the top piece?

I have had these for a while and one of the best looking mods I've made. No need to remove the bow tie...it fits right over it.

man lots of questions here goes:

1) the lights are that blue and its not the camera not that dark but it's a hint blue no white what so ever the liftgate pic's are w/o flash the puddle lights are w/ flash and same result lil blue

2) i'll be taking some day shot next week i want to add the LED tails first or maybe tomorrow i'll take some.
3) i got the chrome pieces off of ebay from upgradeyourauto nice ppl good prices and the top hatch cover already has a cutout for the bowtie i didnt have to remove it it has 3m tape and sticcs on perfect no fuss
4) to get the puddle lights to turn on go to the DIC: and turn on approach lighting and unlock the doors and they should come on thats how i get mines to come on.

any other question just hit me up!!!thanxs for the feedbac too fellas / and ladies!!

Thanks! One more question: From the pics, you certainly can't see the cut ouf that the bow tie fits through -- which is good. What about in person? Can you see an ugly gap, or is the cut out fit tight/perfect? Looks good! (But, it would drive me nuts if I could see any of the cut out gap...)

if you look at the 3rd picture of the liftgate thats how it looks in person deadly accurate.. you would have to stand body to lftgate and run your nail across you actually see the gap like the 1st picture which is angled down you see the white and from being close up on it to me its perfect any closer and you would have to shave some off not to sit on the bowtie itself.. i'll be taking some picture tuesday. when i get over there suppose to be nice outside..
