New Owner...Help...I'm in the Dark!

Just picked up a 2009 Yukon hybrid! Love the car but as I driving home tonight I turned the head lights on and off several times because I couldn't believe they were actually on...(coming from a car with Xeons)...Can't see anything with these stock ones...I checked ebay and there's everything from $12 replacement bulbs to $300.00 entire replacement units! I know our fronts are different from the non-hybrids...so has anyone replaced the headlights and if so what's good and what's bright! I'm not as concerned about looks as I am function...I'd like them about as bright as the sun!

You can retrofit projectors with HID's... that'll be your best bet:
