well today i finally had time to go to my distributer and get some new led bulbs for my interior today. i was only able to get the front foot well lights and the ones for the dome in between the drivers seats. man what a difference! i was thinking of adding more lights before the swap, but now i think once i swap out the rest of the bulbs it will be plenty bright

i dunno the brand name as i got them wholesale from the place i get some install accessories. the install was super easy, except for my passenger foot well. seems the socket was installed upside down. the bulb was facing up into the dash. i simply pulled it out and installed it the right way. i will hopefully get the ones they were out of this next week. makes a huge difference, especially with day light savings time
i will get some tomorrow. my camera is dead and i just finished installing the second and third row dome lights. since i had to go back to get the other led's, i went ahead and got puddle lights, license plate lights and the little map lights. i spent about $125 total and it was totally worth it. now my truck lights up like day time

oh yeah, now i am going to get some led's for my dash. the dash looks dim lit now compared to my lights LOL maybe this weekend if it rains here

For some reason, in either 03 or 04 they started doing away with the footwell lights,along with no more fuel filters and no more cabin air filters. WTF was GM thinking?????
my truck is an 01 suburban. i think there is a sticky to add foot well lights to 03 and up trucks. shouldnt be hard though. now i have to do my gauges and switches. i keep saying i am gonna start but something always comes up. maybe for xmas weekend?? oh and i have to wait for the lock things for my cluster. to add to that i think i am gonna do the projector retro fit to my head lights and add HID's to my fogs. i also want to make some custom tail lights with LED's that look like cadi tail lights every one uses on OBS trucks. but mine will be made of fiberglass and not weld in
was that comment directed at me??? i am a professional detailer, i dont have time to clean my own vehicle. it is my work truck for now, maybe one day i'll get a van. but i really hate vans

LOL dude i dont get insulted that easy. i am very thick skinned and yes i took those pics with my iphone. i had a nice camera, until my daughter stepped on it and messed it up. i'll try and get some better ones soon so you can see the real brightness
