As the title says I just picked it up, the MPG is 13.2. I swapped out the heavy chrome wheels for some trail boss replica wheels which IMO are Atleast 5-7 lbs lighter per wheel.
I recalibrated my average MPG and it won’t really go above 12.6.
Any idea why? Runs like a champ. Trying to increase MPG just a tiny bit. Any help or ideas would be lovely!

You'll prob only see a best of 17 hwy and about 12 city ,,, so you're not too far off

Congratulations to you on your new-to-you Denali. You'll have lots of fun with the 6.2L.

The best way to gain mileage on that truck is to keep your foot off the gas pedal, but that will only gain you a few mpg, and will reduce a lot of the fun of driving that truck.

I get 10-12 mpg in the city, and 15-16 mpg on the highway (18 mpg if the wife is in the truck with me).

Good luck and happy trucking!

My '14 Yukon Denali XL gets 14-15 in mixed city/hwy driving. I keep my foot out of it when getting up to speed. However I cruise at 75-85 on the freeway.

12.x MPG sounds like it's either a lot of city driving, are you having too much fun when accelerating.
