I had a Tahoe LTZ and loved every minute of it. You should definitely get one!!! Yea like Serge said no major differences in 07-12 in the LTZ except the rear bumper from the Esky/Denali. In the later 10-11 ish models, the interior has a chrome tip on the shifter like the Denali/Esky and also has the chrome tow hooks (versus the black ones that came on my 08 LTZ).

New version is (unofficially) due in 2014, which would make it available in mid/late 2013.

It seems to be a go atm, but you never know if GM will change their mind again.

That was my dilemma as well when I decided to sell my tahoe a couple of months ago for a newer truck. That's why I decided to buy a 2010 Denali instead of a new one.

Sorry to barge right in Serge. LTZs have a little more Luxurious items. The LTZ has the chrome package on the outside. On the inside there pretty much the same.

Well there much more that I don't know that I do know.

09 is when the started putting in the upgraded bumper on the ltz. I also think that's the year they changed the mirror signal arrows to solid lines from dots (it was solid lines on my 09 hybrid). I believe 09 is when they started putting in the six speed transmissions as well, but again not completely sure.

I can't tell you all the differences between all the LT version (LT1/LT2/LT3) and the LTZs, other than the basic chrome upgrades, cooled seats, etc ... plus there are special editions, the very rare 08 and 09 6.2 LTZ.

It's easier if you find a truck and we tell you what's missing.
