Hello my name is Lewis. After 40 grueling years working I have retired and am looking forward to doing all the things I never had time to do while working. Bought a new Tahoe for my wife which will tow my Whaler to new fishing spots! Look forward to being active on this site!

4 years and change before I’m eligible to retire.
Congratulations and welcome from NY!
And as far as the comment about towing that fishing boat…

One thing that I will be interested to hear from you is how the Tahoe does backing the boat up your driveway. I noticed with our Denali that even with our small boat it would not just idle up our slight incline like our old Sequoia would. I have to give the Denali some throttle to get things moving.

What I am wondering is if the cylinder deactivation is causing less torque to be available at idle. Curious to hear anyone's comments on this.
