Damm! These are the first set of pics of a fella buying smoked and posting them up!
I came thiiiis close to buying smoked myself. I was talked out of it HERE. When the lights are turned off and the truck is just sitting there, smoked looks so good.

Look at this comparison of the Jeep and Tahoe. The turn signals and headlight beam look to be good when looking at them straight on, but look at what happens at an angle, you can barely see them. Wow.

How do you find the light output compared to stockers?

That's Exactly what I want to do, but I want to use the 55w 8K's in my low beams. I hope the additional output would be comparable to using 35W 6K's in clear housings.

btp001 Did you buy the HID's from DDM (looks sic by the way)?
If so I got pretty much the same setup and it's freak'n scary when you switch from low to high beams and your in the dark.
I read somewhere that the DDM kit was already set up as a high 4 mod but I can't figure out how. I spoke to someone in their tech support this afternoon and he had no clue what I was talking about, he sounded like a real tool...
Anyone know if there is a way to hook up the DDM kit as a high 4 without modifying the harness?

Thanks! I found a good write-up the other night about putting a diode between the high and low beam relays to get the 4 high mod in HID but the attery died on my laptop before I could subscribe or bookmark it :(
I'll check it out tomorrow, tonight it's time for some:sleepy10:
