New from NC; 2019 Suburban RST 6.2

I recently bought my wife a 2019 Suburban Premier RST 6.2L and came across this site while looking for lowering kits, so figured I would join. She wanted the suburban, and I wanted the 6.2 (for towing our wake/surf boat), so the RST came out just in time!

She has already tinted the front windows/windshield, and I just got a rear leveling kit from tony (norcalSS) that I haven’t installed yet (hopefully this weekend I’ll get a chance).

My DD is a 2010 Silverado 1500 6.2L so we are definitely a Chevy truck/SUV family lol

Photo when we picked it up from the dealership. It was stuck at a railyard in SC during hurricane Florence so it took longer to get than we expected. My wife was about to die of anticipation. This new vehicle is her baby, and she is a woman that takes pride in her cars and always keeps them clean inside and out. Very rare characteristic in a woman from my experience lol





It fit in the garage, woo hoo!

1993 Z28 Camaro - supercharged with a cam; 520rwhp; t56 trans with a 12bolt rear

1982 CJ-7 - just finished swapping in a fuel injected 4.0L out of a 95 Grand Cherokee

1969 C10 shortbed truck - my next project

1974 Z28 Camaro - my first car; next project after the C10 for my son when he turns 16 in 10 years

Did you have ceramic tint on the windshield? Secondly, does it have a radar detector now behind the tint? I am concerned about reception issues for my ****** redline ex. Cincinnati microwave does not have the answer I was hoping for either.

You are Blessed that your wife keeps her vehicles clean in and out. She definitely deserves that awesome Suburban!!

No idea on the tint as that was all my wife, but I’ll ask her.
