Is the magna charger 1900 loud??? How does it compare to the procharger? I know they make a quieter helical gear option....

Mine was extremely quiet.

Blackbear, if you were installing a supercharger on a 2007, 5.3L Yukon with 120k miles, would you also recommend going through the rear end?

The 2300 I got from Robbie definitely is heard outside and inside the vehicle at any RPM...even a bit to the trained year at idle...not sure how it really compares to the 1900...

I also have a V2 vortech supercharger (non SQ)...thing is louder than the longtubes and basically open exhaust its on...call it the tacobell dog...more bark than bite

The jackshaft SLP 2300 robbie posted sounds like a pure monster compared to the standard front driven 2300
