I just bought a 2004 Denali w 223K miles. Promptly got reduced engine power and threw a new throttle body/sensor at that which may have solved the problem.

Also went ahead and threw in a new accelerator pedal position sensor which entirely changes the vehicle's responsiveness. Eliminated the lag time between pedal and engine. Can't spend a better $90 bucks or whatever it was from Rockauto.

Been debating on doing this myself... seems like I have a random intermittent loss of power and terrible throttle response.
