I had the factory running boards but they both need to be replaced, also they were too long as my tires were rubbing on them.

What nerf bars or side steps are you all running? I need something because my rig is lifted, and I really did not like the plastic OEM running boards all that much

Get something that extends far enough to be useful. The stock non-moveable side steps are of no useful value, IMO.

I’ve always liked the N-fab hoop side steps or if you got the money amp electric running boards

I went with the GM running boards. Will control them with the amp research controller.
Trying to decide if i even wanna hook them up. I like not having to step over them to get in.

That looks good! (minus the chrome ;) )

I would love to ditch the sidesteps on mine, but little people need them, and they help shield the body from salt.

Some frame mounted rock sliders might go well with your setup.

I don't know anybody that makes them for us though..
Would have to get a weld together kit for toyota or modify one. (if not full custom)

I put these on my K2 after I shattered the originals.

Not sliders just steps.

Not sliders just steps.

They held up well enough on a nasty rocky road a couple of weeks ago.

That would be great, if only someone made them.
This guy had a shop build it, but it looks like the kits you can get..

I wonder if flat ones would be better, those look like they drop down from the frame a tiny bit..
It looks good.

The wide bends mean there won't be much for the rear passengers to step on. (like stock Z71!)
Some slider kits have an extra wide rear step.
I normally wouldn't care about passengers :) But my lady slipped off them once, and when I tried getting in the back, I hated it. (Z71 steps)
Personally, I might try one of the flat ones, with more space to step on.

And what's that step pad made out of? Looks rubbery, which would be nice...
