Need help, or trucks goin.

Alright so my truck has not been very good to me lately, first the tranny goes, then the day i get it back the intake manifold gasket goes, then i fixed it and it had a slight vacuum leak, today i went to fix it, found out that the fuel injector spider gasket didnt seat right so i needed a new one, fixed it, put her back together, went to go start it and now it only runs for 3 seconds and shuts off, im at a loss here, ive been working on the damn thing for nearly a month now, i dont know what it could be, everything is tight, i dont know how there could be any leaks cause it seems like a really bad vacuum leak now, it somehow got worse

Is the air filter in it?

air filter wouldnt make the truck shut off , check fuses first , are you getting a securtity light?, any codes? maybe in the teardown and rebuild you may have forgot to plug somthing back in (trust me its happend to me even after i re-checked everything) also maybe some dirt got into a connection. try spraying throttle body cleaner in it when you get it started , if it keeps running you may have a fuel issue , thats what it sounds like to me IMO or ECU

well this is embarrassing haha, i forgot to put the vacuum line from the brake booster back in the upper intake manifold well i did that and she fired right up, the truck runs better then it ever has, sooo my bad, i got ahead of myself!

the problem is complex . it could be the filter or the oil seak.

Naw, I bet all it is is the vacuum line from the brake booster is not plugged in.
