looking into getting a roll pan and the ones out there are pretty much made of the same material? Say like Street Scene and other makers.

Are they plug and play or need to be modified?

Street scene is made of urethane, but sir micheals makes metal ones. Just take the bumper off and bolt on the roll pan. The only issue you would have is your hitch. Sir micheals makes a hitch that goes behind the rollpan. It bolts right up too. I have a street scene roll pan and the sir micheals hitch.

Where's a good place to order SC one? Perhaps one of the sponsors here?

Correct if im wrong, but dont you have to cut the frame rails to mount the rollpan? I have one sitting in my storage. Its been there for a year. Maybe itll get installed, maybe not.....I dont have the steel one, i like the body lines when its not welded in.

I did not have to do any cutting, but I did take out my spare tire with the new hitch.

You may could put a smaller tire on the spare and keep it under there.

No kidding, I probably get more compliments on that dang roll pan than anything else on the truck. Someone is always saying how much it cleans up the back. you know because not all of us are laid out on 28s.

IMO welded steel is the way to go, unless you like the lines. I have a Grant Kustoms pan and it turned out great.....
