I was talking about the air deflector not the chrome cap? Sorry if i confused anyone

Yea I put it on and I figure just clip it in and 2 bolts on the side and I'm done. but nope I had to spend an hour on my back drilling and lining up 8 more holes lol.
I guess the 05 bumper piece has pre drilled holes or clips for the lip to install? Im not sure.

Ahhhh, plastidipped. Explains everything now! Still looks good!

Haha I was always against plastidip, but I'm more against chrome. But i was surprised how mine turned out, smooth and perfect. it actually doesn't look too bad and i get alot of compliments on it cause most people dont think its plastidip lol.
And color match is gonna be a big job saved for later when I have $$

Haha yours looks good as well. Why not do the bumpers ?
If you look you can see i plastidipped the lower bumper valance too. I hate how gm had them come in grey.
Get rid of that side molding too

Thx. I would do the bumper but my grill has some small chips in the dip so I'd be a little concerned the same thing would happen to the bumper and that chrome would be shining through. We do alot of highway driving.

Colour match 100%. Looks good. Take a pic from the back on a 45. I was to see how is blends in with the rest of the truck. I lo be the bumper but not sure if it will blend in on mine.

Yea that's just a pic of the lower piece. Buy I'll use the entire bumper , including the plastic cover and top steps.

Can't wait to see it finished. My idea was to do Denali rear bumper and HD hood and grill and bumper. But I want it to look classy and mean at the same time. I am not sure my idea is going to fly. And it's been two years and still can't find any of the parts.
