Sub'd...

that is awesome man I really like that. I have my Audio Que 12's that i LOVE but like you, I dont want to sacrifice my cargo area to put them in. So my question is, why dontcha build me one lol? Could be a decent market for those, Id definitely pay for one. I lack the free time to do it myself...

Lol well as you can see by the rate im completing it, that I lack the free time as well lol.

Sorry no progress. We spent all weekend at cooks children's hospital. The new baby was running a fever. So they kept him there 36 hours. I'm just glad he is okay. However I now have a 3 day weekend so I better freaking get it done now haha

This box would probably fit that 12. So you have room to do it. I could have more airspace for the box but would sacrifice cup holders, and the arm rest storage to do so.

As far as sound goes its awesome. I love having my sub up front and centered lol.

Here it is... Not completely done, but mostly. About the best I could do with the limited time I have.

Still need to make a filler piece for the drivers side lower dash where it meets the console.
Also need to paint the passenger lower dash panel and reinstall my glove box.

Thanks alot guys. I'm really happy with it.

It is a tad higher than planned, but being 6'2" it's actually more comfortable than the jump seat console was. I don't seem to slouch as much while driving.

Again keep in mind it has my 600w rms RE audio 10 in it. 1.25 cuft. After sub and port displacements. It is tuned to 30hz. Gross volume is actually 1.7 cuft. So it was alot of work to make everything work together.

I'll post some more once the dash is painted.

Trying to talk myself out of getting a bigger sub now lol

I have had a hard time finding parts for 03+ trucks in the local yards that will let you go pull parts. The ones that have the parts already pulled wont sell just those pieces, gotta buy the whole console.

What up with the '03+ What about 01 and 02 ?

What about the 00-02?
I have an easier time finding interior parts for those. the problem is most electronic stuff doesn't work on a 03+. switches, buttons, etc... nor does the dash bezel or center console...

And I'm interested and just subscribed. Looks good. How did you make the rounded cuts? did you use a jig saw?
