My led cluster mod and some questions.

Ok I did the led mod but if anyone knows if it's possible to put LEDs in the stock radio till I replace it and if I can put LEDs in the rear wiper and 4x4 switches. Anyway here's the pics.

Here's original

Holy crap! Those domes are bright! Same with the gauges, they look great. but how's the glare at night?

The 4x4 switches are already L.E.D. They're just really weak, I'm not sure if you could replace them either as they're soldered in and there aint a lot of voltage going there. Just pop out the switch box, you'll have it apart in less than 5 min, i replaced an LED on mine today. I believe the wiper can be upgraded though.

Thanks Atomichoe094!

Battlewagun I pulled the switches but couldn't find a way to get to the bulbs inside. There isn't as much glare as you would think in the dash, it looks really cool at night when you're driving.

Raptorforme93 I got them from superbrightleds.com. I spent $70 for the cluster, hvac, window switches in all the doors, domes and map lights.

There is a way, when you pull the switches, unplug both harnesses from it( just for easier access) and there should be 4 snap slots on the top and bottom, 2 each side. Just slip a flathead in there and you can pop the whole back off from the case, the electronic board comes with it. I know it's hard to explain, I can get you pictures if you want, just lemme know!

This just may be my next mod

Cool! I will try it out tomorrow. That's how the light switch was but it was easy to take apart because I was able to find the clips.
