also hauled two more loads of scrap ( dishwasher, stove, hotwater heater, and some other stuff. ) as well as two or three more trips to the dump and now have enough room to get the bikes inside for the winter, as well as two extra riding mowers! so great progress on that, and will be getting rid of all but one mower in the spring, so it will be good room gained.

also on the astra got the cam selinoides changed, but to very little avail, i am pretty sure it needs the variable cam gears replaced also.

and just because i feel like explaining the tire grooving for those not familiar.

it uses a hot gun, kinda like a huge soldering iron, with a curved razor blade at the end.

the result is a nice little channel grooved out of the rubber. as can be seen from one side to the other. i dont typically get to nuts, i usually just clean up the tread so that it is more like it was when new, which helps with traction as well as water/snow/ice traction.

it leaves little half moon pieces of rubber.

Have also been known to sipe for additional ice traction also. which is to take the same blade and flip it over so the legs stick down by themselves so it just adds the cuts to them.

And for comparison here is one that I had done many years ago at somewhere like belle tire or such. They just put them random all over.

What exactly is left of it? What year is it? Might as well throw some pics up--for us 3rd gen lovers :)

here in an hour or two i will put many pics up. this makes 3 3rd gen we have currently. i thought i had pics of hers up already. guess i will make several posts that will all be her 91 rs t-top, a spare parts 87 z28, and this formula. it will have to be several posts long to get all the pics in there. but i can do that for sure. i may toss a couple more of dennys wide body that sold just because it is sexy.

And the firebird. This was mostly spare parts for the widebody car. But is honestly not terrible for what it is. Most everything but the drivetrain is there. But someone had at set it up for drag racing with the ladder bars.
