Forgot--you have barn doors too. I used to like them, til I drove one. I couldn't get used to looking through that bar in the rearview. Still sweet tho.

I’d love to have barn doors, but haven’t seen them on the nnbs. I’ve got a fire extinguisher in the way of my vision anyway.

They stopped them in 04 or 05 iirc . Never made to the nnbs or beyond

I'm 6' 3 and the liftgate has some blood and skin on the corners from my shaved head but at 280 lbs it makes me real scary looking but kinda *****!

It’s funny my last two were regular hatch I always told myself I wanted a barn door for ease of loading . I love them. I don’t like getting hit in the head when they close on their own but oh well [emoji23]

This is extremely oddly packaged. SLT with leather . Third row delete (no tracks or cut outs) , barn doors, sunroof , no heated seats , manual passenger seat.

Good find. SLT would have leather, only the LS models had cloth. Heated seats weren’t standard yet with leather and non power passenger was kind of a thing and you could not get 3rd row with barn doors, it wasn’t available. My 01 LS tahoe had cloth, sunroof, barn doors and no 3rd row. I added the 3rd row.... carpet, brackets and leather seats off ebay back in 03 when my truck was only a few years old. I miss that truck...

I believe they all have the provisions for the third row.

Yes, covered but threaded and there. There are kits on ebay for bolts and strikers..... well there were... same on the nnbs trucks... threaded holes are there.

It’s only needed rear charcoal canister to remove CEL, diff fluid flushes, I replaced the ripped steering wheel with a used on eBay, refurbed cluster on eBay , rear hvac module , both door actuators and a used blower motor .

I’m into this truck for $4000 including the wheels , indash alpine nav, esky appliqués (to be painted ), magnaflow muffler and all maintenance

i'd would replace the brake lines as well the rubber had a manufacture defect which was only fixed in the 2007 model GMT900

this seemed to be specific to the GMT800 (possibly even the 400 series ) as my W body stopped on a dime So strong that is was like being in an accident "fast" I even made my friend fly into the dash for not wearing his seat belt..just going 10mph. he put on his seat belt every time after that.

where the GMT800s i have driven had a very mushy brake pedals... like stepping on a mashed potato

It’s funny you mentioned that. I had them rot out on me on my 05 Denali back in 2013.

One of them on this truck went apparently in 09 necessitating a row in Nj (as per the repair bills ). He replaced them all in 09-10 .
