This is the passenger side with the spacer installed...looks much better and handles a hell of a lot better! The tires are actually humming a lot louder now that they're pushed out an additional 2'' but I enjoy the sound

I also installed 25mm spacers on my other beast

Can you trim the inner wheel wells and maybe the lower outer edge of the bumper? Would that work?

I was thinking about breaking out the angle grinder and cutting the front portion(behind the front bumper) on a 45 degree angle but I have to remove the wheel well to make sure there's no wires hidden back there first...the PO was a butcher who ran wires everywhere that I'm still cleaning up lol

You must have off street parking as I do not see any bumper scrapes on those bumpers..If I know I will be longer then 15 minutes while I am in Brooklyn, Manhattan or Queens I will go into a garage..I spent a fortune over the years on body shops due to street damage while parked in NYC..Even with all that I still love NYC as there is no other place like it.

Both of your Bimmers look awesome!!

New 13pc Complete Front Suspension Kit for Chevy & GMC 1500 Trucks 6-Lug 4x4 4WD | eBay

Just finished getting up to date on this thread. Firstly, Thanks for your service to the city. My brother is also FDNY.
Definitely an interesting build. Love the bedliner paint job. Was wondering if you ever got the suspension kit installed. My 03 Suburban needs some work and was curious your thoughts/ experience with that kit.

Thanks brother, I park both Bimmers in my garage to avoid the typical New Yawker who smashes into the car in front and behind them to fit into a parking spot or the occasional drunk that side swipes you lol... you couldn't pay me to park either truck on the streets of Brooklyn,Queens or Manhattan! That's why I bought the Hoe and Herculined it...it's just a beater but it does it's job of keeping me from getting trapped in between 2 cars parked up my ass...4 LO and the push bar make quick work of morons who park on my bumpers :D

There's no place like NY but we take the cake when it comes to the most inconsiderate, brain dead drivers in the country! lol
