Hi guys: Well i've been hearing a loud ticking from the top or center rear of the engine. I'm looking for ideas as to what to start looking at for causes. How would one test to see if the lifters are finally collapsing? Still seems to run ok.
Thanks,
TG

Glad to hear you made it to 200k, gives
Me hope with my 2015.

My ticking was in fact a lifter that did fail and a broken spring at about 77k miles.

Just take it in and have dealer listen to it - my dealer is great and have had really good customer service with them. So if you trust them, start there. No sense guessing and worrying about it.
