Ok last mod. OEM 20 inch Trailboss wheels with brand new tires. Also a Cerakote treatment on all the plastics.

So in my quest for an esky roof rack I discovered that the one I bought was missing several pieces. The center bolt and nut were missing as well as one of the plastic pieces for the end caps. A trip to a local junk yard and I got everything in order. Decided to rhino line the roof rack to match the rest of the black and white theme. Also found some used black d-pillars. Some Adams compound and polish with an orbital polish and they look almost new. Now to rivetnut the roof….

I had to add a black OEM Yukon spoiler and debadged appliqué. Both really had to be compounded and polished. Came out looking perfect.

Noticed your new headlights have the DRLs working - safe to say that your rig didnt have the delete? Like the wheels - I hunted for black lugs cuz I was unsure how it would look against the black OE wheels. Now I know it would look fine and thanks for posting those pics.

You are correct, the DRLs were working when I got the car. In the pictures the headlight DRL LED strip is actually wired to the parking lamp bulbs. My DRLs bulbs are also amber (I changed them out from the clear bulbs) but are the inner most bulbs closest to the grille.

Finally got my Escalade roof rack on. Took about 4 hours to get everything perfect. Lots of adjustments were need it to get it perfectly spot on. I think it came out great. Hardest part was getting the center bolts aligned perfectly. Next up is a digital reverse mirror and blue painted calipers..

Testing the mirror in another car. It’s supposed to also function as a front and rear dash cam as well. Will definitely help since the car has 5% tint all around.

lol exactly. Got it on and got it working off of my switched accessory power. Loving it so far. I still want to figure out something to conceal the wires better.

I concealed the wires better and cleaned up the wiring. Now on to using some G2 paint to paint the brake calipers blue.

curious what you used on the roof? (the black area) is that a spray on liner or something? wondering because I put my kids bikes up on the roof for a trip and scratched the paint in a couple spots that eventually needs to be addressed.

I used what Sparksalot linked in the Amazon link. I honestly was not impressed with it as it was difficult to spray it evenly. I bought Herculiner for the roof rack and it came out way more even when putting it down. Definitely recommend Herculiner.

They shine in the sun but are otherwise subltle.
