Every Vehicle is different...

When I first purchased my yukon I drove it back from Deray Beach (3 hours away) it had the stock 265's on it and 3:73 gear no lift. Average 18 mpg on the highway. About 13 to 14 in the city. When I changed the wheels and tires to 20 with a 305/50r20 all terain tire (no lift just adjustment to the suspension). City mileage dropped to 12 no matter how I drove and highway went to 16. Then, I installed pacesetter headers and a magnaflow cat back system, no tailpipes cut exhaust off after the axle. Kept fatory cats. Mileage is up to 13 in the city and still 16 on the highway. My next add will be a cold air system. Hope to see some gains there. The age of these vehicles make me question if a programer is worth the money. Ill keep reading see if they are worth it. D

97Yukon,
I believe stock tire size is 235/75/15. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The 4x4s must have different sizes compared to 2wd.
Thanks for the link :)

The stock 4*4 were p245's with options for LR and 265's. From the factory.

There was also options for 15's if requested and were standard among 2wd.
