Mirrors are F'ed up!!!! GRRRRR a little help?

yep...ummm...all of a sudden, today at wal-mart...when I put the truck in reverse to leave, my passenger side mirror points to ground as it should (curb view assist)...but it never went back...then when I went to use the button to adjust my mirror back...it didnt work...on EITHER side!!!!...

but mirrors fold IN and OUT...and curb view assist works..but I cant adjust the mirrors with the button..and they wont go back to normal view after reversing is done...a little help? wtf....

I'd start with fuses and check the switch in the door

The memory module possibly? I;d start by unplugging the battery for a few minutes to see if that resets it.

I've looked for a fuse but cant find anything labeled for the mirrors...or the switch...

It just all of a sudden stopped working...

Same prob on 01 Yukon

I have the same problem on my 01 Yukon SLT. I don't have the folding option as stated but i bought it used about 2 month ago and they never worked for me. I tried looking for fuses also to no avail. I might tkae the panel off the take a look at the switch connection.

Its even more odd because they automatically go down...but not back up.... =/

mine it weird because i have to hit the button a few times sometime to get my mirrors to work..

Didn't someone a while back say that you had to adjust the mirrors up towards the sky or even set it correctly and then do the curb assist for it to work correctly again? Not sure exactly because I don't have the feature on my truck nor have I even seen how to use the option!!

yea...but that wasnt the issue...the issue was that I couldnt adjust the mirrors at all...move them or anything...curb view assist works fine...it goes where it needs to...it just doesnt return...and I couldnt even adjust the driver side, which I dont use curb view on...the buttons just werent working...



anyways, all I did was pull that door button console off...unplug it...plug it back in...and it works fine now

when did GM start the curb view assist ? my 01 Denali doesnt have it unless its not working or programmed or whatever ?

go through your menus...the ones where you set how long your lights stay on after you leave the truck....and easy exit chair recline...and all those things...it should say Curb View Assist...unless they added it in the 03-06

yeh i think they added it in the 03-06 models because i dont even have the easy exit recline option.
