what the hell is a V2500? another typo? and i take it this is a 383 equipped unit?

When GM came out with the new body style in 1988, the old body style carried on until 91, and was designated R/V 1500, 2500, 3500. R replaced C and V replaced K. So his V2500 Suburban could otherwise be known as a K2500 Suburban.

My 1997 LT has exactly 39.8K on the Odo. Nope, not a typo, and the past 10-1/2 years here in the Desert Southwest has pretty much ceased-arrested all further rusting cause it's so dry, rare we get snow, and they don't use salt. (First 6 years were in Chicago, but often it stayed garaged in winter when the salt trucks did their nasty thing)

Downside of here is dust, heat, intense sun, and UV degradation. Was why I more recently bought a Covercraft NOAH Cover since I only have a Carport now. Sure wish I had a damn garage, would sure make maintainence much easier.

Bought her just over a year ago with 134,000. A nice '99 and she just turned 160,00 a few days ago. I guess I drive her more than the previous owners did.
