Matching transfer case

I have a 99 tahoe with a 246, blue fluid. What transfercases match up? I'm having a hard time with local junkyards finding a match. I've found a 98 tahoe with a 246 with red fluid and a 00 tahoe with a 5.3. They say it doesn't match.

the 98 should match exactly but get the red fluid out of there. that was someone mistake putting it in there.

The 98 transfer case has sticker on it to use dextron 3. My transfercase has the sticker for autotrac 2. I thought the case would work but its not a match.

you sure it is a 246 case? if so then autotrac2. i dont care what the sticker says.

In the glove box on the codes I did find NP8.

anything with a np8 np246 on it but if not on gm originally verify the spline count on input and rear output.
