matching factory tint

Hey guys, anyone know what the factory tint % is on the 04 Yukon?

I want to match the 2 front windows to the rest of the truck.

I think it's 35%...but most tint places have it and can match it perfect.

Sounds good. I got a quote for $100 for the two fronts @ 1.5hrs.

35% sounds about right.

I have 35% on my fronts (legal) and its nowhere close to matching. $100 sounds high for just the two windows. I paid $50.

I don't know, but I'd guess around 20.

rears are closer to 15-20% and $100 is VERY high for around here. I paid $40 in February for lifetime warranty for both fronts on my YD.

I'm in the Chicago area, perhaps I'll look around at other places for pricing. Good to know that 35% is lighter than factory though. It's as dark as I can really go anyways.

Pat, thanks for the reply! I found your album. White Yukon? That's factory rear tints w/35% in the front!??? It sure looks dark! Maybe that's just the white paint throwing me off.

negative...that's 20% front and stock tempered/tinted glass for rears. thanks for the props.

i've done it before on an old beater i had, it turned out fine, but honestly, it's so cheap these days, you're better off to just pay a shop to do it and have a professional look.

$100.00 is way to high for 2 windows. I paid $150.00 for 5% limo over all the factory smoked glass windows, 20% on the 2 front and a 5% brow. Which I guess equals $20.00 a window and $10 for the brow.

Window tint prices are entirely demographic.

Here in southern california, you can EASILY pay $120 for just 2 windows.
