My 12589 Magnaflow only had one pipe inlet/outlet on either side.......

I ordered mine from a forum vendor here for cheaper than I could find anywhere else and very happy with the outcome.

the outlet doesn't matter you can run two out the back, however the 5.3 only has 1 inlet.

You can fab it together though. Thats the cool part about exhuast. Really the only thing stopping you is clearance, Id check on that 1st

So your saying it will work? And my buddy said he got a y pipe put on it. Not very sure what that means. And is $100 a good price for the muffler.

That single out dual in piece connected to that muffler could be fabbed to the collector on the end of your factory Y pipe, if the diameter is the same and you have room. As far as a good deal, need to know the serial # on the muffler.

It would probably be cheaper just to get on Ebay or Summit, carId or Jegs and get a single in/single out replacement for your truck.

There are mufflers for less than 100.00

I doubt he added it, I think the 6.2's come stock with single in single out. He probably got that so he could run duals from the muffler back. Like I said, for 100.00 you could do better and have nothing to do but cut the old muffler out, weld the new muffler in.
