Hey all, I have a 2003 Z71 with the keys cranked up halfway and 285/70/17 on stocks with 2" spacers.

I am wanting to lower it a bit to have more of a street/ppv stance. I am about to buy a set of ppv wheels locally.

I am doing this on a budget, so no spindles. Can i just lower my stock keys and put some 2wd springs in the rear? What should that net me in the back lowering wise? I'm guessing I can't run my 285's anymore once it's lowered? Maybe trade them for something closer to stock, like 265's?

Thank you guys.

Wouldn't 285/70/17 be equivalent to 285/45/22 that guys run all the time on lowered rides?
