Lowering a Z71 Suburban?

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I just bought a 2008 Chevrolet suburban z71 1500 today and traded in my 2011 Sierra. I am wanting to do a 2/3 drop on it and to put my 22 inch KMC Slides. Has anyone ran into any issues with lowering a Z 71 suburban? I'm installing my old system in it this weekend along with my old Airaid intake. My Sierra had a Blackbear tune, So I am trying to get in touch with him so I can get the suburban tuned. On a side note, I hate the 4L 60 compared to my old 6L 80.
