i have a 2019 GMC Yukon XL and I want to put in a suspension kit, either air or electric, to lower the vehicle at least 4 inches. Can anyone tell me if this is possible, without major modifications? I have become disabled and need it lowered for entry. I like the height for driving, but find it too hard to get in and out. I have called a couple of custom shops, but they don't return my call. Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated.

It can be done. Generally you’d lower the front a few inches, like 2 and the rear 3-4 to level it. This would be a static drop. Having it raise back up adds a lot more to the job. There are kits to get the static drop and adjustable drop. If I were making this choice I’d choose a static drop that most any good shop can install.

Does NORCAL SS (Tony) offer a lowering kit for them?

He used to and used to be quite active on here. I purchased some HD rear sway bar end links from him and communicated with him through DM on this site; That was almost exactly 2 yrs ago.

I think he’s more active on IG and maybe Facebook? I don’t have either.
But what you’re asking for is nothing new. A lot of the parts are even the same for the GMT900(‘07-‘14) as they are for the K2XX(‘15-‘20). Especially the parts needed to lower the rear. Lowering springs for the front would be the same, drop spindles for front do have different part #’s between the GMT900(‘07-‘14) as they are for the K2XX(‘15-‘20).

If you do your research here on the forums you can come up with all the parts needed to piece together your own front and rear lowering kit.
