I did my lowers on the truck with teh free rental from Auto Zone. Learned on teh first one to freeze the ball joint a couple days and when i was ready to install I headed the swing arm with a heat gun, when it was too warm to touch(not melting hot) I pulled the joint out of the deep freeze and it pressed right in. Had a little difficulty getting it started straight but once started it drove right in, seated with a final wack of 2# sledge adn it was done. I did loosen the torsion bolts but cranked back to original dimentin and all was well. Good luck.
