i had to call out a recovery service this past week after getting stuck while trying to go recover a friends jeep... it doesn't look that bad, and we worked for hours trying to dig it out and placing all kinds of material to get a bite with the treads to no avail! i need to invest in a winch and front bumper so i am never in this situation again. looking for ideas and suggestions of what's worth looking in to and what to stay away from... all help is welcome and appreciated!

Creeto your back! Haven't seen you or Gonzo on for a long time, and now you both post recently.

Yeah it does not look that bad. Were your axles buried too?

If you find a hidden winch that works post some pics. Not sure how it would mount on the Z71s since we have the "skid plate".

Just do a front reciever and use a reciever mounted winch plate. The one made by Curt hanges below the bumper, but I am sure someone could fab one up that would come out right where the front plate mount is, if you wanted it a little higher.
