Looking for advice on audio install

I'm going to be installing a full system in my 05 Tahoe with On-Star and Bose. I have the PAC RP5-GM11 interface but I'm questioning whether to use it or not. I would like the steering wheel controls but I won't be utilizing the Bose amp so would it be easier to just run power, accessory and ground wires instead of using the interface?

This is what I am going to be installing:
1 x Kenwood Excelon DDX9903S Head Unit
1 x SiriusXM SXV300 Tuner
1 x Skar Audio TX65C Components
1 x Skar Audio TX65 Coaxials
1 x Skar Audio SK-M4004D 4 Channel Amp
1 x Skar Audio RP-1500.1D Mono Amp
2 x Kicker Comp 10 inch

I have an 05 Tahoe with Bose as well (no onstar). I was pretty sure you need that PAC in order to use the steering wheel controls. Also their is a post here where you can plug into your XM stock antenna, made it real easy to install.
I only installed a head unit, Excelon as well.

You can get a steering wheel controller only if your HU has an input for it.

It's not ABSOLUTELY necessary, but to retain warning chimes and blinker tones, you'll need an interface.

Yeah I used it just to maintain chimes and SWC. OnStar I didn’t care about, originally kept the stock amp and it sounded good honestly. I ended up putting in a kicker cxa300.4 and my results were meh driving 4 kicker cs 6.5 coaxials. If I had to do it over I would have gotten a beefier amp and better speakers, or just kept the stock Bose.

Oh and the chime module in the PAC kit sounds like crap. I got used to it eventually, but it was a bit wonky.

Looks like your amp is a 100w rms x channel though, so it’ll be better than mine... I think it was only 45w x channel rms.

looks like a good setup I'd make sure to use good cable for power and ground the Big 3 upgrade is a must, expecially if you use a frame ground for amp

Big three is done. 250amp alternator. And using knukoncepts for all wiring including rca and speaker wire

Run 1 from alt to bat, frame to ground, and engine block to ground, 4g or greater is The Big 3

1 x Kenwood KAC-8406 900 Watt 4-Channel Class AB Car Audio Power Amp
1 x Kenwood KAC-6104D 600 Watt Mono Block Amp
2 x JL Audio 10W0V3-4 10" 4 ohm Subs
I also have an old school Kenwood Pre-Amp I am thinking about installing but the new deck has a really cool equalizer built in that offers about the same if not more features than the pre-amp
